John F. Kennedy International Airport is one of the busiest airports located in the United States. Initially built as the New York International Airport in 1948. Later, it was renamed in homage to the former President John F. Kennedy. Today, the airport stands as the largest gateway to domestic and international travel happening in and out of New York.

JFK Terminal 1 Airlines

Terminal 1 is JFK’s dedicated facility for major international airlines. It has 11 boarding gates and serves a variety of flights across several continents, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and more. 

JFK Terminal 4 Airlines

Terminal 4 is one of the largest and busiest terminals at John F. Kennedy Airport, spanning two concourses (A and B) with 48 gates. It is the primary hub of Delta Air Lines and also serves a broad mix of international carriers and Delta codeshare partners.

JFK Terminal 5 Airlines

Terminal 5 exclusively serves JetBlue Airways. It also handles a limited number of flights for Cape Air and Sun Country Airlines, covering both domestic and international operations, and has 29 boarding gates.

JFK Terminal 7 Airlines

Terminal 7 mainly serves international and transatlantic airlines, as well as some low-cost, domestic, and regional airlines. Airlines such as Aer Lingus, Icelandair, and LOT Polish use it for transatlantic flights.

JFK Terminal 8 Airlines

Terminal 8 is served by major oneworld airlines and a few other selected domestic and international carriers. It acts as an important hub for both global and regional flights. It handles flights to multiple destinations through its 32 boarding gates.
